Jorge Rojas, Colombia’s Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, is in Washington, D.C., on an official visit to further strengthen the longstanding partnership between Colombia and the United States.
During his visit, Vice Minister Rojas will engage in high-level discussions with senior officials from the Biden administration, addressing topics such as security cooperation, the continued implementation of Colombia’s 2016 Peace Accord, and developing joint strategies for sustainable growth.
In addition to these government-level talks, Vice Minister Rojas will meet with representatives from leading think tanks and civil society organizations. These meetings aim to deepen dialogue around Colombia’s efforts in human rights promotion and its forward-looking approach to sustainable development.
