Updated: Oct 7

Washington D.C., 1 October 2024 – The Embassy of Colombia in the United States showcased a selection of traditional products, including Colombian coffee, baked goods, and confectionary treats, at the 2024 Congressional Hispanic Heritage Month celebration.

Organised by the Congressional Hispanic Staff Association (CHSA) as part of Hispanic Heritage Month, Embassy Night provided an opportunity for networking, engagement, and strengthening ties between Colombia and the United States. The event highlighted Colombia’s continued cooperation with the U.S. while offering congressional audiences a chance to experience authentic Colombian food and music.

This occasion also marked the re-launch of the Embassy’s monthly salsa dance classes, exclusively for congressional staffers, reaffirming the cultural exchange between the two nations.

The Embassy of Colombia remains committed to deepening its ties with the United States and to promoting a greater understanding of Colombia’s rich contributions to the region’s shared heritage.
