Over nine hundred guests celebrated the Bicentennial of Colombia’s Independence, at the Organization of American States in Washington D.C. last Saturday. At a party co-sponsored by the Colombian Embassy to the U.S., the mission of Colombia to the OAS, and Colombian organization Todos por Colombia, guests danced to Banda la República, who flew in from Medellín for the celebration. Local musicians, corporate sponsors from Colombia and the United States, and a team of volunteers made the party a great success.
