On Wednesday, July 14th, The Emergency Committee for American Trade held a press conference upon the release of a letter signed by CEO Terry McGraw, urging the Administration to approve the pending Free Trade Agreements with Korea, Colombia and Panama.

Ambassador Barco participated in the press conference along with members of Congress  and the Korean Ambassador, Han Duk-soo. In her remarks, the Ambassador emphasized the importance of the U.S. Colombia FTA, for geopolitical and economic reasons, and stressed the importance of increased trade for the creation of jobs and the improvement of worker conditions.
